Opening December 2026
Eight private pool villas set quietly among the rice fields of Gentong, north of Ubud.
Designed around privacy, stillness and a gentle connection to Bali’s landscape, Riloka offers a slower way to stay, with your own pool, walled garden and space to simply be.
Four Sama villas are designed step-free from the foundation, with thoughtful access from the car to the bathroom and assistance available at the pool.

Ri to return
Loka a place
A place to return to, even on your very first visit.
Set among the rice fields of Gentong, Tegallalang, Riloka invites you to slow down and reconnect with Bali’s natural rhythm. Follow the quiet flow of irrigation channels, take in the surrounding greenery, and experience village life at its own pace.
Just a short drive from Ubud’s galleries, temples, restaurants, and cafés, Riloka offers a peaceful retreat within easy reach of the area’s cultural heart.
Each of Riloka’s eight villas features a private pool and walled garden, offering a sense of privacy within the natural landscape. A central reception and café bring the property together, balancing personal space with a welcoming sense of place.
Japanese-inspired simplicity meets the tropical landscape of Bali, where considered architecture and natural surroundings shape a quieter way to stay.
Four of the eight villas, known as the Sama Villas, were designed step-free from the foundation. Features include a step-free route from parking, level interiors, a shower chair, and assisted pool entry.
We believe accessibility is best understood through details. Verified measurements and photographs will help guests assess the Sama Villas against their individual needs.
Every place has a story, from the thinking behind a design to the everyday life that surrounds it.
Discover the inspiration behind Riloka, the village of Gentong, and the care that goes into preparing each villa between stays in the Aligna Hospitality Journal.
Until we welcome our first guests, the story continues here.
The villas
Every villa at Riloka has its own pool and garden, with spaces designed for privacy and unhurried days.

Four private villas, 1 bedroom, 2 guests
Sama villas were designed step-free from the very beginning, from the parking bay through to the bedroom and bathroom.
A gentle approach leads from the car to the villa, while a shower chair is provided in the bathroom. At the pool, entry is via a stair ledge, with our team available to assist.
Sama means level ground, and equal.
Three private villas, 1 bedroom, 2 guests
A private one-bedroom villa opening onto its own pool and walled garden.
Designed for two, Eka offers the intimacy of a private retreat: a place to close the door, slow the pace and enjoy time together.
Eka means one.

One private house, 2 bedrooms, 4 guests
Dwi House is Riloka’s two-bedroom private house, created for families or friends travelling together.
With its own pool and generous garden, it offers the space to gather while retaining the privacy of a villa.
Dwi means two.
The whole property
For celebrations, retreats, family gatherings or simply travelling together, all eight villas can be reserved as one private property for up to 18 guests. Four Sama villas, three Eka villas and Dwi House come together around the same quiet setting in Gentong.
